**The Opportunity** This role involves Lead Design for Reliability projects, planning and applying reliability methods (DOE, Weibull analysis, RBD, etc.) with a focus on improvement of high voltage products over their life cycle. Also able to apply sophisticated reliability analysis methods, leading and participating in stress tests of our products. **How You’ll Make An Impact** - Design for reliability: Lead Design for Reliability projects, planning and applying reliability methods (DOE, Weibull analysis, RBD, etc.) with a focus on improvement of high voltage products over their life cycle. Also able to apply sophisticated reliability analysis methods, leading and participating in stress tests of our products. - Data Governance and control: Development of reliability monitoring approaches based on experimental results, numerical simulations, and technical literature. Define the failure data collection and deploy IT governance processes. - AI Automation: Support the development of automated AI tools by structuring data defining outcomes and validating results against the target. - Structured data analysis: Build up tools to analyses data in a structured manner from the existing databases, be it SAP or internal databases like Digital Passport System or likewise. - Reliability analysis and prediction: build and Implement customized methods based on reliability engineering principles to identify potential unreliability issues from manufacturing till end of life period. - Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. **Your Background** - Bachelor’s / Diploma in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical). - 5+ years of experience in statistical evaluation and reliability field - Basic know-how of Electrical equipment and systems - Relevant experience in Statistical tool deployment in the past, data analysis and design improvement suggestions through data analysis - Understanding of HV electrical products and had - Data analysis certifications from reputed industry leaders prior knowledge of it. - Demonstrable experience performing and/or leading statistical evaluations be it prior knowledge in 6 sigma or equivalent. - Data science and programming knowledge, Proficient in Python, Power BI, Open AI tools and/or any other Business Intelligence tool. - Earlier experience and knowledge on risk assessment methods like FMEA, HAZOP, Bow- Tie will be plus - Proficient in IT architecture set up and SAP will be plus. - Self-motivated, willingness to take up and lead new challenges. - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
