**JOB SUMMARY** The Senior Associate in Data Engineering will translate client requirements into technical design, and implement components for data engineering solutions. Utilize deep understanding of data integration and big data design principles in creating custom solutions or implementing package solutions. You will independently drive design discussions to ensure the necessary health of the overall solution. **LOCATION** Bangalore/Gurugram/Noida **Your Impact:** - Data Ingestion, Integration and Transformation - Data Storage and Computation Frameworks, Performance Optimizations - Analytics & Visualizations - Infrastructure & Cloud Computing - Data Management Platforms - Build functionality for data ingestion from multiple heterogeneous sources in batch and real-time on GCP. - Design, build, and optimize high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and serverless data processing layers. **Your Skills & Experience:** - Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Deep hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and writing complex SQL queries for data transformation and analytics. - Solid exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components, specifically Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. - Familiarity with version control workflows using Git and hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipeline implementations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute tasks independently with minimal oversight. **Set Yourself Apart With:** - Ability to read, understand, and debug Java code for legacy or cross-system integrations. - Knowledge of Unix environments and hands-on shell scripting for pipeline automation. - Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate business requirements. - GCP Data Engineer or Google Cloud Architect professional certifications. **PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES** - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proactive mindset for collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Self-starter who requires minimal oversight and takes end-to-end ownership. - Process orientation and the ability to define, streamline, and maintain data pipeline processes. **Benefits of Working Here:** - Gender-Neutral Policy - 18 paid holidays throughout the year. - Generous parental leave and new parent transition program - Flexible work arrangements - Employee Assistance Programs to help you in wellness and well being **A Tip from the Hiring Manager:** Join the team to sharpen your skills and expand your collaborative methods.
