Job Summary We are looking for a strong Azure Data Engineer with excellent Python development skills to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure data services, Python, Spark, SQL, and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure data services. • Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Build and optimize data processing solutions using Azure Databricks (ADB) and Apache Spark. • Work with Azure Data Lake (ADL) for data storage and management. • Develop reusable data engineering solutions using Python. • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions. • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance best practices. • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing data pipelines. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience in Python programming. • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Experience working with Azure Data Lake (ADL). • Hands-on experience in Azure Databricks (ADB). • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark / PySpark. • Excellent SQL development and query optimization skills. • Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines. • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. • Experience with Git and CI/CD processes. • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
