If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place. **About You And This Role** As a **Senior Developer,** you will use expanded conceptual and practical knowledge to solve complex issues, achieve company goals and drive results for Dow and eBusiness. You will be responsible for analysis, design, implementation/adoption, optimization of digital solutions, delivering advanced functional and business capabilities. You will work hand-in-hand with a multi-disciplinary IT expert team (analysts / designers / developers / support) to deliver innovative digital solutions. Orchestrate functional and technical requirements analysis – with emphasis on experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, reliability. Oversee the development, optimization, implementation and adoption of solutions leveraging best-in-class mobile, web, desktop, cloud technologies. Identifies opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation. In this role, you will require in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your discipline's best practices and how they relate to others. You may need to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements as well as serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. You should also be able to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus with others. It is your responsibility to analyze and resolve complex problems, examine information from multiple sources, and use judgement to evaluate established and new solutions. Your performance impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies. You will work to apply your knowledge to assist senior team members on a diverse range of innovative, high-value projects with the opportunity to grow your career within EPD and Dow IT . **Responsibilities** - Requirements Analysis – Understands key business drivers in order to explore, analyze and map business and function requirements - Documents detailed designs. - Manages the Onboarding of EDI and OCR Partners. - Quality Assurance & Hypercare- Validate data accuracy post-implementation and manage hypercare support. Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure compliance with standards. - Communicates effectively both with the Dow team and with external stakeholders (Elemica, Potential and Current EDI Partners). - Communicates status, metrics, risks and issues on a timely basis. - Applies knowledge and experience to identify and implement automation - Builds, tests and implements - Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as liaison between IT, business units, and external partners. Provide guidance to external partners and internal teams on eBusiness tools and processes. - Support – Involved in and assist with issue resolution **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. **Your Skills** - Previous Experience Electronic Document interchange – EDI,P2X, IDOC processing, mapping, XML, preferably EDI standards like ANSI, EDI fact. - Previous Experience with SAP (ECC) and work process knowledge - Experience working with external vendors & internal stakeholders which could include warehouses, 3PLs, customers and carriers. - Fluent English in verbal and written communications. - Skills, knowledge and abilities must include. - Strong communication and interpersonal effectiveness skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Project Management. - Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams. **Additional Notes** - No relocation support is provided on the role. - Your performance will impact business direction through the development of new products or services. **Benefits – What Dow Offers You** We invest in you.
