If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.** **Senior DevOps Engineer** **POSITION PURPOSE:** The Senior DevOps Engineer leads the design, automation, and continuous improvement of software delivery, cloud operations, Data Integration solutions, and Agentic AI products and capabilities across the organization. This role is responsible for building and optimizing Data Integration Layer, infrastructure as code, development platforms, Data Integration solutions, Agentic AI products, and observability practices that enable secure, reliable, and scalable release processes and products. In addition to hands-on technical ownership, the Senior DevOps Engineer provides technical leadership across teams by shaping DevOps strategy, defining engineering standards, mentoring engineers, influencing architecture and platform decisions, and aligning delivery practices with business, security, and operational objectives. Working closely with engineering, QA, security, operations, and business stakeholders, the Senior DevOps Engineer drives DevOps standards, strengthens team capabilities, improves deployment efficiency and system resilience, and ensures that product development and production environments support high-quality software delivery. **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure and platform services using infrastructure as code and automation practices to ensure scalability, consistency, and repeatability. - Design, implement, and maintain distributed data integration pipelines using Apache, Kafka or equivalent technology by: - Automating deployment, configuration, and management of Kafka clusters on AWS/Azure - Building data ingestion frameworks for databases, APIs, and streaming sources - Troubleshooting distributed systems and pipeline issues - Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, containerization, and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar IaC tools - Designing, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation to enable secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery across development, test, and production environments - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture - Establish and enhance observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing data flow metrics, to improve service reliability, performance, and operational visibility. - Embed security, compliance, and governance controls into pipelines, infrastructure, and operational processes, ensuring solutions are designed with risk mitigation and secure-by-default principles. - Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, platform teams, security teams, and product stakeholders to streamline deployment workflows, improve developer experience, and remove delivery bottlenecks. - Lead root cause analysis, incident troubleshooting, and post-incident improvements for build, deployment, and production issues, driving preventive actions that reduce operational toil and recurrence. - Review platform and infrastructure designs to ensure appropriate technology choices, resilient architecture, efficient resource usage, and effective integration across systems and services. - Define and promote DevOps engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for automation, configuration management, release management, and environment lifecycle management. - Support continuous improvement through evaluation of emerging tools, cloud capabilities, and platform engineering practices, recommending and implementing changes that improve speed, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment standards to support maintainability, auditability, and knowledge sharing across teams. - Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and team members, helping strengthen DevOps capabilities, operational discipline, and engineering excellence across the organization. - Work with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and supportable platform and delivery solutions. **WHO YOU ARE:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Data engineering, Cloud infrastructure, Data Integration platform, or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated success supporting enterprise-scale environments. - Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment strategies across multiple environments. - Proficiency with cloud platforms and respective services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including experience with infrastructure provisioning, networking, identity/access management, and operational support. - Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production (administration, tuning, monitoring). - Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture. - Deep knowledge of and experience with infrastructure as code and configuration automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies. - Experience with containerization
