Senior Software Engineer Job Description DevSecOps Engineer Azure ControlM Modernization Role DevSecOps Engineer Experience 711 Years Location Flexible Employment Type Full Time Role Overview We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to support an evolving cloud and automation landscape built primarily on Microsoft Azure The role will focus on establishing DevSecOps practices Infrastructure as Code IaC CICD standardization platform automation and ControlM modernization initiatives including Job as Code JaC The ideal candidate should have strong handson experience in cloud infrastructure CICD pipelines container platforms automation and operational support with the ability to work across development infrastructure and security teams Key Responsibilities Design build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines and automation frameworks Support ControlM modernization initiatives including Job as Code JaC implementation Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and reusable Terraform modules Build and support CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub and GitHub Actions Manage containerized workloads using Docker Kubernetes AKS and Helm Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and deployments Integrate security controls within the software delivery lifecycle Support operational activities incident resolution platform maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with architecture infrastructure application and security teams to define DevSecOps standards and best practices Contribute to platform observability monitoring and operational excellence Technical Skills Required Cloud Microsoft Azure Mandatory Azure services and landing zone concepts Infrastructure as Code Terraform Terraform Modules Configuration Management Ansible Container Orchestration Docker Kubernetes Azure Kubernetes Service AKS Helm CICD Source Control Azure DevOps GitHub GitHub Actions Security Compliance DevSecOps best practices Secrets Management Vault or equivalent Secure CICD implementation Artifact Quality Management Nexus Repository SonarQube Automation Scheduling ControlM Job as Code JaC experience preferred Preferred Skills Experience supporting enterprisescale production environments Experience with platform modernization and automation programs Exposure to operational support and SRE practices Knowledge of Infrastructure Architecture and Application Deployment Architecture Understanding of security scanning vulnerability management and policy enforcement within CICD pipelines Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field Ideal Candidate Profile Strong Azure DevSecOps practitioner Handson with Terraform Ansible Kubernetes and CICD platforms Comfortable working in both project delivery and operational support environments Able to drive standardization and establish DevSecOps practices in a growing organization Quick learner with the ability to work on emerging technologies and modernization initiatives Nice to Have ControlM Administration ControlM Job as Code JaC Enterprise Scheduling and Workload Automation experience Azure Security and Governance exposure SREObservability experience using enterprise monitoring platforms
