Senior EHS officer / Executive

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs across the facility. - Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. - Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety policies. - Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions. - Organize safety training, tool-box talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. - Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports. - Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and documentation. - Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance. - Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and evacuation exercises. - Support ISO 45001 and other EHS management system implementation and audits. - Liaise with government authorities and external agencies regarding safety compliance. - Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
