Job ID: 36737 Job Title: Senior Engineer, Colt Design Centre (MPLS/ SDWAN) Location: Gurugram/ Bengaluru **Why we need this role** This role is required to strengthen CDC pre-sales design support and ensure timely handling of Sales Requests across Internet Access, SD-WAN, Capital Markets, and IPVPN product lines. **What you will do** - Design and develop robust SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, and WAN solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements. - Prepare and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), network diagrams, and technical documentation. - Design and validate solutions involving routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, along with MPLS VPNs, QoS, and security technologies. - Conduct proof-of-concept validations for new services and customer-specific requirements. - Provide technical expertise during customer workshops, design discussions, and solution presentations. - Perform risk, impact, capacity, and resiliency assessments to ensure designs meet performance and availability requirements. - Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex design-related issues during implementation and service activation phases. - Drive continuous improvement through design standardization, process optimization, and adoption of emerging technologies such as SD-WAN, IPv6, and cloud connectivity solutions. **What we're looking for** - Network Solution Designer with 5–6 years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise network solutions. - Strong hands-on understanding of SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, IPVPN, WAN, routing, switching, QoS, and VPN technologies. - Experience in analysing customer requirements and translating them into scalable, resilient, and cost-effective network designs. - Good exposure to technical feasibility assessments, solution reviews, capacity checks, and design validations. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Architecture, Product, Delivery, and Operations.
