Senior Engineer - Java Developer(Kafka)

Job description

**Key Skills**: Microservices, Springboot, Kafka, Java, Kubernetes, Docker **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain backend services in Java using Spring Boot for REST APIs and service integrations. - Build and evolve microservices, including defining service boundaries, contracts, and inter-service communication patterns. - Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka, including producers/consumers and reliable message handling. - Collaborate on performance, scalability, and resilience improvements across services and messaging flows. - Support deployment and operational readiness for services running in Docker and Kubernetes environments. **Skills Required:** - 6-9 years of relevant experience in Java backend development - Strong experience in Java server-side development. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework. - Good knowledge of Microservices architecture and REST API development. - Experience with Apache Kafka, including producers and consumers. - Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage. - Understanding of application performance tuning and scalable system design. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
