Senior Engineer Job requirements Experience Range: With at least 2 to 4 years of experience, including hands-on Apttus CPQ implementations and data migration projects Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement data migration strategies for Apttus CPQ, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to SaaS platforms • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data mapping solutions to facilitate accurate and efficient data transfers • Automate migration workflows to improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and enhance data consistency across environments • Configure and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support high-volume data loads and reporting requirements • Manage reconciliation and validation processes to ensure data integrity, including creating automated QA reports for field-to-field validation across multiple systems • Implement robust error handling and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) management protocols during migration activities • Plan and execute cutover data loads, coordinating with cross-functional teams for minimal business disruption • Conduct performance and volume testing to validate system scalability and address potential bottlenecks during migration and hypercare phases Required Skills: • Apttus CPQ-Pricing Customization • Apttus CPQ-Billing and Order Management • Apttus CPQ-Approval Workflows • Apttus CPQ-Product Configuration • Apttus CPQ-Asset Based Ordering • Apttus CPQ-Cart Configuration • ETL design and implementation • Data mapping and transformation • Snowflake data warehouse administration • Automated QA report development Preferred Skills: • Experience with legacy-to-SaaS data migration • Expertise in data reconciliation and validation methodologies • Knowledge of PII management in data migration • Proficiency in error handling for ETL processes • Familiarity with performance and volume testing tools such as Apache JMeter or Snowflake-specific utilities Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline • Apttus CPQ certification or equivalent recognized credential • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification or relevant ETL/data migration certification
