**Role & responsibilities** We are looking for a technically strong Senior Engineer Water & Mechanical Systems to manage operation and maintenance of STP, ETP, WTP, and RO plants at our Oragadam facility. The role ensures uninterrupted utility services, environmental compliance, and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment. Water Treatment Plant Operations - Manage operation and maintenance of STP, ETP, WTP, and RO plants - Ensure uninterrupted utility services and regulatory compliance - Monitor water quality parameters, laboratory analysis, and process performance - Maintain materials, spares, chemicals, and service deliverables related to plant operations Environmental Compliance & Reporting - Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, statutory requirements, consent conditions, and water management guidelines - Maintain statutory records, operational documentation, and audit readiness - Prepare compliance reports and performance analysis using MS Excel and PowerPoint Project & Process Improvement - Lead utility-related projects, modifications, capacity enhancement, and process improvement initiatives - Analyze utility performance data and prepare management reports Mechanical Utility Systems - Basic understanding and management of air compressor systems and compressed air distribution networks - Manage tank farm operations, storage tanks, pumps, and associated utility systems Contractor & Team Management - Manage contractors, service providers, and operating teams - Ensure zero safety incidents and environmental violations at all times **Preferred candidate profile** - Hands-on experience in STP, ETP, WTP, and RO plant operations and maintenance - Good knowledge of environmental laws, wastewater management, and pollution control requirements - Exposure to air compressors, tank farm operations, pumps, and utility equipment - Strong project management and contractor management skills - Knowledge of water chemistry, laboratory testing, and process troubleshooting - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office applications - Strong focus on EHS compliance and continuous improvement
