**Job Description: Sr. Executive Dispatch** **Location:** Indore, MP **Department:** Dispatch **Reports To:** Dy. Manager - Dispatch **Employment Type:** Full-Time, Salaried **Key Responsibilities** **1. Dispatch Planning & Vehicle Management** - Vehicle Scheduling: Arrange appropriate transport vehicles strictly according to the daily/weekly dispatch plan, ensuring 100% vehicle availability. - Volume Optimization: Calculate and arrange vehicles based on material volume, weight, and foam density specifications to maximize load efficiency and space utilization. - Team Support: Provide hands-on guidance and support to the dispatch floor team during loading, documentation, and handover processes. **2. Communication & Daily Reporting** - Sales Coordination: Email complete vehicle and driver details (vehicle number, driver phone, LR details) to the sales team/salesmen daily. - Dispatch Reporting: Prepare daily Plan vs. Actual dispatch reports, providing clear root-cause analysis and justifications for any deviations or delays. **3. Transit Monitoring & Issue Resolution** - On-Time Delivery: Track shipments end-to-end to ensure vehicles reach their final destination on schedule. - Problem Solving: Actively resolve real-time problems concerning transport, logistics routes, systems, or customer delivery issues. **4. Rate Negotiation & Cost Control** - Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate competitive freight rates and terms with logistics providers, transporters, and brokers. Zero Additional Cost Target: Strictly controloperational expenses to prevent unnecessary charges (e.g., halting/detentioncharges, demurrage, or extra freight costs due to sudden delivery locationchanges). **Candidate Profile** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - **Experience:** 3+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, and freight negotiation within a manufacturing environment (experience in foam, packaging, or lightweight bulky goods is a strong plus). - **Key Competencies:** Strong negotiation skills, route planning expertise, proficiency in MS Excel / ERP software, and excellent problem-solving under tight delivery schedules.
