**Job Description Accountant / Financial Reporting** **About the Role** We are looking for a **Finance & Accounting professional** with 23 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of **Ind AS, IGAAP**, and core accounting principles, along with good analytical and reporting skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. - Support preparation of **financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules**. - Ensure compliance with applicable **Ind AS and IGAAP** accounting standards and internal accounting policies. - Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. - Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records. - Support preparation and review of financial and management reports. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for accounting-related requirements and queries. - Assist in maintaining proper documentation and supporting schedules for audit and compliance purposes. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes and drive process efficiency. - Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and applicable statutory requirements. **Desired Skills & Competencies** - Strong knowledge of **accounting principles, Ind AS and IGAAP**. - Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in **MS Excel** and other financial/accounting systems. **Education & Experience** - **Qualification:** B.Com / M.Com / CMA - **Experience:** 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Ind AS, IGAAP, or related areas. - Candidates with experience in a structured corporate environment and exposure to audit/reporting processes will be preferred.
