**Job Description Position - 01 Designation: Senior Executive– Die Maintenance Department: Tool Room / Die Maintenance Industry: Automotive / Sheet Metal Job Purpose To lead the die maintenance team and ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of press tools/dies by effectively managing preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, die troubleshooting, modifications, and continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities \\* Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of press tools/dies. \\* Ensure dies are available in good condition as per production requirements. \\* Troubleshoot die online. \\* Feeding and part ejection problems \\* Carry out die inspection, repair, correction, grinding, polishing, fitting, and adjustment activities. \\* Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and Engineering teams for quick resolution of die-related problems. \\* Analyze recurring die breakdowns and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions. \\* Maintain die history, breakdown records, PM records, repair records, and spare-parts requirements. \\* Monitor die condition and identify critical components requiring replacement or modification. \\* Control and maintain die spares such as punches, dies, guide pillars, bushes, springs, lifters, sensors, and other wear components. \\* Support die tryout, die setting, die modification, and improvement activities. \\* Ensure proper die maintenance standards and housekeeping in the tool room. \\* Drive continuous improvement to reduce: \\* Die breakdowns \\* Production downtime \\* Maintenance cost \\* Rejection/rework \\* Tool life issues \\* Train and develop die maintenance technicians and junior engineers. \\* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures. \\* Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports and present performance indicators to management. Required Qualifications \\* Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Production Engineering, or equivalent. \\* Strong knowledge of press tools and sheet-metal dies. \\* Experience in automotive sheet-metal manufacturing will be preferred. Experience 8–12+ years of relevant experience in press tool/die maintenance, preferably in the automotive industry.
