**Executive/Senior Executive: Purchase-Logistics** **Position Details** **Designation: Senior Executive Purchase** **Experience: 58 Years** **Qualification: BE (Preferred) / Graduate** **Budget: Up to 7 LPA** Purchase Logistics - Managed end-to-end procurement of international logistics services (Air & Sea Freight) for import and export shipments. - Conducted RFQs, commercial evaluations, and negotiations with freight forwarders to achieve cost reduction and cost avoidance. - Prepared freight procurement summaries based on indent details, Incoterms, cargo specifications, and bidding requirements. - Evaluated logistics quotations based on freight rates, origin/destination charges, CBIC exchange rates, quotation validity, and commercial terms. - Estimated budgetary freight costs using chargeable weight (Air), CBM (LCL), and container requirements (FCL), and provided cost forecasts for approval. - Liaised with freight forwarders for shipment planning, cargo pickup, customs coordination, and delivery from POL/POD to plant locations. - Monitored shipment status, resolved logistics issues, and ensured timely movement of import cargo. - Maintained MIS reports, RFQ records, freight cost data, and procurement documentation for audit and analysis. - Supported import procurement operations by ensuring compliance with procurement policies, commercial terms, and organizational timelines. - Utilized Advanced MS Excel for freight analysis, cost comparison, reporting, and budgetpreparation. - Work on SAP HANA - Procurement and material management. - Direct and Indirect purchase. - Vendor development, relationship management, and import/export logistics. - Create PRs, POs, and manage inventory levels. - Budgeting for procurement and ensuring cost savings. - Handle vault inventory and billing process. - Ensure defect-free material supply and manage customer complaints. - Use quality tools (7QC, SPC, 8D, Why-Why analysis). - Material planning for domestic & import vendors.
