Job description

- Job Description: The role involves managing financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. - Experience in **insurance domain (preferred)** - Exposure to **Oracle or similar ERP systems** - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management ability - Attention to detail and accuracy - Time management and ability to meet deadlines - Ownership and accountability - Process improvement mindset - **Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations** - Manage **insurance accounting processes** such as premium booking, claims accounting, and broker reconciliations - Handle **bank and balance sheet reconciliations** , including investigation and resolution of variances - Support **month-end and quarter-end close activities** within defined timelines - Work on **unallocated cash management and clearing open items** - Prepare and review **MIS reports and financial summaries** for stakeholders - Ensure adherence to **SOPs, internal controls, and compliance requirements** - Collaborate with internal teams and clients for **issue resolution and process improvements** - Support **audit requests** and maintain proper documentation - Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com) - Strong knowledge of **accounting principles and financial processes** - Proficiency in **Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)**
