**About the Company** We are seeking experienced AWS FinOps Cloud Engineers to join a strategic cloud optimization and governance initiative. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in AWS cloud engineering, financial operations, and cost optimization who can drive measurable business value through effective cloud consumption management. **About the Role** Position Details - Role: AWS FinOps Cloud Engineer - Experience: 6-8 Years - Employment Type: Full-Time - Location: Chennai | Bangalore | Hyderabad - Work Model: 5 Days / Week Office-Based **Responsibilities** - Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across enterprise AWS environments. - Implement and manage EC2 rightsizing, scheduling, and infrastructure efficiency programs. - Drive Savings Plans and Reserved Instance (RI) optimization strategies. - Optimize containerized workloads across EKS and ECS platforms. - Establish governance frameworks covering tagging, budgeting, allocation, and compliance. - Develop automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and scripting technologies. - Partner with engineering, platform, and business teams to improve cloud financial accountability and operational excellence. **Qualifications** Required Skills & Expertise - AWS Cloud Engineering - FinOps & Cloud Financial Management - AWS Cost Optimization - EC2 Rightsizing & Scheduling - Savings Plans & Reserved Instances (RI) - EKS / ECS Cost Optimization - Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) - AWS Cost Explorer & CloudWatch - AWS Organizations, IAM & SCP - Cloud Governance & Tagging Controls - Python, PowerShell, or Bash Scripting - FinOps Practitioner / FOCUS Knowledge **Preferred Skills** The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering cloud cost reduction programs, implementing governance controls, and driving financial transparency across AWS environments.
