This role acts as both a developer and an automation coach, building rapid application solutions that integrate seamlessly with Google Workspace to improve operational efficiency. **Responsibilities** - Develop custom Google Apps Scripts to automate repetitive manual tasks, reducing entry errors and saving time - Build and maintain solutions that leverage Google Workspace APIs to bridge data gaps - Create custom functions, menus, buttons and sidebars within Google Sheets to enhance user interactivity - Design and deploy standalone web apps and Workspace add-ons for specialized business processes - Connect Apps Script projects with internal Google tools for data analysis, issue tracking and notifications/bots - Ensure scripts are clean, well-commented and robust, including basic error-handling, testing and meaningful logging - Act as an automation coach to support non-coders within the organization **Requirements** - 4 to 9 years of experience in software development - Extensive expertise in Google Apps Script and its built-in services such as SpreadsheetApp, GmailApp and DriveApp - Strong understanding of API Management and connecting backend services to front-end interfaces - Proficiency in SQL for data fetching and reporting - Familiarity with Google Workspace including Sheets, Docs and Slides - Knowledge of Gmail and Calendar integration **Nice to have** - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript - Knowledge of AI/ML tools such as Document AI for digitization and LLM models for text generation - Skills in front-end frameworks like React or Angular for building complex web app UIs - Familiarity with Google-internal deployment tools like Borg or Rapid **We offer** - Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies - Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications - Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms - Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons - Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions - Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects - Focused individual development - Benefit package: - Health benefits - Retirement benefits - Paid time off - Flexible benefits - Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
