Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job description

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Middleware environments, including Solace appliances or Brokers. - Strong handson experience with **Solace PubSub+ appliances**. - Expertise in handling larger Application Migrations on Solace Appliances. - Expertise in **firmware upgrades**, patching, and maintenance lifecycle. - Solid experience with **TLS/SSL certificate management** (CSR creation, renewal, rotation, trust store updates). - Ability to troubleshoot hardware alerts, including Fan/temperature, Disk/SSD, NIC and redundancy issues, HA failovers. - Experience coordinating vendor support (Solace TAC) including RMA, part replacement, and RCA. - Strong operational knowledge of VPN creation, Queue / Topic Endpoint creation, ACL profiles, client profiles, quotas. - Skills in performance tuning/window tuning for high throughput and low latency. - Experience using CLI, SolAdmin, SEMP API, and monitoring dashboards. - Strong L3 troubleshooting skills for production platforms. - Understanding of HA/DR architecture in Solace. - Knowledge of **replay**, transaction settings, and advanced Solace features.
