We named a Leader in the Everest Group Private Equity (PE) Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026 and Software Product Engineering PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026. **About Position** We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer to drive modernization initiatives, enhance application architecture, and contribute to the evolution of a large-scale, complex mobile application built using Swift, Objective-C, and SwiftUI. - Role: Senior iOS Developer - Location: Pune - Experience: 5+ Years - Job Type: Full-Time Employment **What You'll Do** - You will be responsible for modernizing the application architecture, reducing technical debt, and driving best practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality - Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt through refactoring across Swift and Objective-C codebases - Drive transition from feature-branch workflow to Trunk-Based Development - Improve and maintain MVC/MVVM architecture while advocating modern practices - Design and develop reusable UI components aligned with Apple guidelines - Develop and maintain features using UIKit and SwiftUI - Manage asynchronous operations using Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) - Implement networking and data persistence using Alamofire, Realm, UserDefaults, and Codable - Participate in code reviews via Bitbucket to improve code quality - Enhance unit testing coverage using XCTest - Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and maintain iOS 15+ compatibility - Manage dependencies using CocoaPods - Work with CI/CD pipelines such as Codemagic - Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket **Expertise You'll Bring** - You bring strong expertise in iOS development with a focus on modernizing legacy systems and improving application architecture - 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with at least one app published on the App Store - Strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C with interoperability experience - Proven experience in refactoring legacy systems and reducing technical debt - Deep understanding of UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards, programmatic UI) - Experience with MVC and MVVM architectures - Strong understanding of concurrency using GCD and closure-based patterns - Hands-on experience with CocoaPods, Alamofire, Realm - Proficiency in Xcode and Git (Bitbucket) - Experience with SwiftUI and interest in modern UI frameworks (preferred) - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Codemagic (preferred) - Experience building reusable UI components or SDKs (preferred) - Familiarity with Kotlin or KMM is a plus - Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field **Benefits** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
