Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot, Microservices & AWS

Job description

**Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and enhance enterprise APIs using **Java and Spring Boot** - Build and maintain **microservices-based applications** - Develop RESTful services and enterprise integrations - Deploy and manage applications in **AWS cloud environments** - Integrate applications with **CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools** - Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and code quality practices - Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and SIT issues - Analyze and optimize database interactions and application performance - Collaborate with architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions **Must-Have Skills** Java Development - Strong expertise in: - **Java** - **Spring Boot** - **Microservices Architecture** - Experience building: - REST APIs - Enterprise backend services AWS Cloud - Hands-on experience with: - **AWS ECS** - **Lambda** - **SNS** - **SQS** - **S3** - **RDS** - **API Gateway** - **CloudWatch** API Development - Strong experience in: - RESTful service development - API lifecycle management - Enterprise integrations DevOps & CI/CD - Experience with: - **GitLab CI/CD** - Automated deployment pipelines - Build and release management Database - Strong understanding of: - SQL - Database performance optimization - Query tuning **Good-to-Have Skills** - Experience with: - **Spring Reactive** - **Spring Batch** - **Terraform** - Exposure to: - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Event-driven architectures - Banking or Financial Services domain experience
