Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot & Microservices (Azure Migration)

Job description

**Key Responsibilities** - Refactor and modernize existing applications for Azure cloud adoption. - Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. - Integrate applications with cloud-native services and data platforms. - Implement performance optimization and scalability improvements. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD implementation and automated deployments. - Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives from AWS or on-premises environments. - Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best development practices. - Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions. - Support troubleshooting, production readiness, and deployment activities. **Must-Have Skills** Java Development - Strong experience in: - Java - Spring Boot - Microservices Architecture - Experience building enterprise-grade backend applications. API Development - Strong expertise in: - REST APIs - Service integration patterns - Cloud-based application integration Cloud Migration - Experience working on: - AWS-to-Azure migrations - On-premises-to-cloud migration programs - Understanding of cloud modernization principles. Containers & Platforms - Experience with: - Docker - Kubernetes (preferred) - Understanding of containerized deployments.
