Senior Mainframe Developer

Job description

**Position Description:** - 3 - 8 years of strong hands-on experience in mainframe development using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC , SORT, and mainframe utilities (IDCAMS, FILE-AID, TSO/ISPF, etc.) - Proven ability to work independently on end-to-end development tasks with minimal guidance. - Solid experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), including user stories, sprint deliverables, and tools like Jira/Rally/Confluence - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail - Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) able to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, document clearly, and present solutions - Good understanding of mainframe concepts: VSAM, GDG, datasets and abend handling - Experience with version control/change management tools (Endevor/ChangeMan/ISpw) and testing/debug tools (Xpediter/InterTest). **Responsibilities:** - Understanding business requirements - Performing impact analysis, - Designing, Coding, Unit testing, Issue fix and resolution - Coordinating with Clients and stakeholders - Debug online and batch code using Xpeditor **Must-Have Skills:** COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, (IMS DB/DC or CICS) - Total Experience: - Relevant Experience in Mainframe Technologies: - Relevant in CICS: - Relevant in mainframe development: - Current CTC: - Expected CTC (ECTC): - Notice Period: - Current Location: - preferred location: - Are you available for a virtual interview this week?
