We’re looking for **Senior Manager, APAC Benefits** to join our ever-evolving **People Office** **team** and help shape the future of global commerce. **What you’ll own** We’re seeking a Senior Manager - APAC to join our People Office team and drive the delivery of best-in-class team member benefits across APAC, with a particular focus on India, Philippines, Australia and China, as well as other key APAC countries. Then you sound like a Worldpayer. **APAC Benefits Strategy & Governance** - Develop and execute a comprehensive APAC benefits strategy aligned with the organization’s global benefits philosophy, talent strategy, and business objectives. - Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across APAC markets, ensuring appropriate balance between global consistency and local market needs. - Establish and maintain regional benefits governance, policies, processes, and standards. - Identify opportunities to simplify, harmonize, modernize, and enhance benefits programs across the region. - Partner with Global Benefits leadership on the development and implementation of a global benefits framework and operating model. - Monitor emerging market trends, legislative changes, team member expectations, and competitive practices to inform future benefits strategies. **Program Design & Optimization** - Lead the design, evaluation, and ongoing optimization of health, welfare, retirement, savings, wellbeing, leave, and other team member benefits programs across APAC. - Assess existing programs to ensure they are competitive, financially sustainable, and aligned with team member needs. - Develop recommendations and business cases for program enhancements, harmonization, and cost optimization. - Support global benefits initiatives and M&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning, program harmonization, and transition activities. - Drive initiatives that improve the team member experience through simplified processes, enhanced communications, and digital benefits solutions. **Vendor & Consultant Management** - Lead relationships with regional benefits brokers, consultants, carriers, third-party administrators, and other strategic partners. - Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and ensure service-level agreements and performance expectations are met. - Lead or support regional RFPs, renewals, market reviews, and vendor negotiations. - Evaluate vendor capabilities and emerging solutions to identify opportunities to improve quality, team member experience, and value. - Ensure effective governance of regional benefits vendors and partners. **Financial Management & Analytics** - Partner with Finance and Global Benefits leadership to manage APAC benefits budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. - Analyze benefits spend, utilization, market competitiveness, and program performance to identify trends and opportunities. - Develop data-driven recommendations that balance team member value, business objectives, and financial sustainability. - Establish meaningful metrics and dashboards to monitor benefits performance and support executive decision-making. **Compliance & Risk Management** - Ensure benefits programs are administered in accordance with applicable local laws, regulations, and market requirements. - Partner with Legal, HR, Payroll, Finance, and external advisors to identify and mitigate benefits-related risks. - Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact APAC benefits programs. - Maintain appropriate documentation, governance, controls, and processes to support compliance and audit requirements. **Stakeholder Partnership & Leadership** - Serve as a trusted benefits advisor to regional and country HR leaders and senior business stakeholders. - Build strong partnerships across Global Benefits, HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, Procurement, and other functional teams. - Influence stakeholders through data, market insights, and a strong understanding of business priorities. - Lead cross-functional projects and regional initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. - Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and recommendations to senior leadership. - Collaborate with global benefits leaders to share best practices and ensure a consistent global benefits strategy and team member experience. **Team member Experience & Communications** - Partner with HR and Communications teams to develop effective benefits communications and education strategies across APAC. - Ensure benefits information is clear, accessible, culturally appropriate, and aligned with local requirements. - Identify opportunities to improve team member understanding, engagement, and utilization of benefits programs. - Support the development of global benefits communications and resources that can be adapted for APAC markets. **What you’ll bring** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field. - 15+ years of progressive experience in team member benefits, compensation and benefits, HR, or a related discipline, with significant APAC regional experience. - Demonstrated experience managing benefits programs across multiple APAC countries and diverse regulatory environments. - Strong knowledge of regional health, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and other team member benefits programs. - **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience supporting global benefits harmonization, M&A, or organizational integration. - Experience working with global benefits consultants and multinational pooling arrangements. - Experience leading regional RFPs, vendor negotiations, and benefits renewals. - Experience with benefits technology, team member engagement platforms, and data analytics. - Professional benefits certification or designation preferred. -
