Job description

**Key Skills:** Machine Learning, People Management, Forecasting, Bayesian Statistics, Timeseries, Data Science, KPI, Appraisal, Team Management, Performance metrics, Python **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Lead development of forecasting solutions using machine learning and Bayesian statistics for time series problems. - Own model lifecycle activities including problem framing, feature/model development, validation, and performance monitoring. - Provide hands-on coding support (20-30%) to implement and iterate on forecasting pipelines and experiments. - Manage a team of ~6-7 members, including mentoring, technical guidance, and delivery planning. - Drive people management practices: appraisals, KPI setting, performance management, and continuous improvement. **Skills Required:** - 12-15 years of relevant experience in data science and forecasting, including at least 5 years of people management - Machine learning with practical experience building and improving predictive models. - Bayesian statistics and Bayesian programming for forecasting and uncertainty-aware modeling. - Time series forecasting expertise, including data preparation, evaluation, and model tuning. - Data science fundamentals with strong ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions. Good to Have: - Python for hands-on implementation of forecasting and analytics workflows. - Experience with KPI setting, performance metrics, and structured appraisal cycles. **Education:** Any Graduation, Any Post Graduation
