Job description: Job Description Wipro Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager with deep domain expertise in Industrial Assets to join the Energy, Manufacturing & Resources (EMR) practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted C-suite advisor to leading energy and industrial clients, shaping the strategic agenda for asset-intensive operations — spanning asset integrity management, reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, and the digital and operating-model transformation of the asset base. You will translate enterprise strategy into executable transformation roadmaps that unlock measurable value across throughput, cost, capital efficiency, and reliability. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, value-led engagements for global clients across the oil and gas, petrochemicals, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate combines strong consulting and commercial acumen with hands-on experience in industrial asset management, leveraging AI, GenAI, IoT, and advanced analytics to reinvent how clients operate and extract value from their assets — from opportunity identification through execution and scale. **Key Responsibilities:** **Strategic Consulting and Client Engagement** -Lead strategic consulting engagements that reshape industrial asset management, asset integrity, reliability, and maintenance strategy — defining value-led transformation scenarios across asset strategy, operating model, and digital capabilities for energy and industrial clients. -Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (VP and C-suite level), framing the strategic agenda and delivering recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes across value, EBITDA, and capital efficiency. -Develop and present compelling proposals, Points of View (PoVs), and value-led solution frameworks that shape client demand, originate pipeline, and win new engagements. -Build and deepen long-term, C-suite-level relationships with major energy companies, driving pipeline origination, repeat business, and sustained account growth. **Domain Expertise & Solution Delivery** -Bring deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: a)Asset Integrity Management (AIM) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) b)Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Predictive Maintenance strategies c)Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, or Oracle EAM d)Corrosion management, mechanical integrity, and fitness-for-service assessments e)Capital project advisory and turnaround planning for industrial facilities -Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) for asset management functions — underpinned by clear value trees and decision frameworks — ensuring alignment with industry standards (ISO 55000, API, ASME). -Lead digital transformation initiatives — defining the digital North Star and roadmap and leveraging IoT, AI/ML, GenAI, digital twins, and advanced analytics to optimize asset lifecycle performance and value. ͏ **Delivery Excellence & Project Leadership** -Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements with disciplined margin and P&L control, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes. -Oversee project governance, risk mitigation, and executive stakeholder communication across multi-shore delivery teams. -Drive continuous improvement in delivery, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and a Management Operating System (MOS) to embed performance management and accountability. **Delivery Excellence & Project Leadership** -Drive the growth of the EMR Industrial Assets consulting practice through solution development, capability building, market positioning, and pipeline origination. -Develop and publish whitepapers, case studies, and industry insights on industrial asset management trends and digital innovation. -Represent Wipro Consulting at industry forums, conferences, and analyst briefings. -Mentor, develop, and scale consulting talent, fostering a culture of domain excellence, ownership, and continuous learning Long Description Required Qualifications -12–18 years of overall experience, with at least 5–7 years in consulting or advisory roles focused on industrial assets and asset-intensive transformation within the energy, oil and gas, or process industries. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related discipline). MBA or Master’s degree is preferred. -Proven track record of leading and delivering strategic consulting engagements in asset integrity, reliability engineering, maintenance and operating-model transformation, or industrial operations. -Strong understanding of asset-intensive industries, including upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas operations. -Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, or Oracle EAM. -Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO 55000, API 580/581, ASME, OSHA PSM). -Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar consulting portfolios, pipeline, and client P&L responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications -Experience working with major energy companies (IOCs, NOCs, or large independent operators). -Certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or ISO 55001 Lead Auditor. -Hands-on experience with digital technologies for industrial assets, including IoT sensors, predictive and advanced analytics, digital twins, GenAI, and AI-driven decision support systems. -Experience in continuous improvement and operating-model transformation methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt). -Track record of contributing to thought leadership through published articles, conference presentations, or industry body participation. -Strong global exposure, with experience originating and managing engagements across multiple geographies and go-to-market
