Job description

**Responsibilities** Maintenance Planning & Reliability - Develop and monitor preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans for plant equipment. - Analyze equipment failures and identify reliability improvement opportunities. - Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as equipment availability, reliability, MTBF, and MTTR. - Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Operational Excellence - Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization. - Implement best maintenance and operational practices across plant systems. - Monitor performance trends and recommend improvement measures for plant operations. - Facilitate implementation of operational excellence tools and methodologies. Technical Support - Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting critical plant equipment issues. - Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and OEMs for technical resolutions. - Review technical specifications, maintenance procedures, and engineering documents. - Support modernization, renovation, and improvement projects. Planning & Coordination - Prepare annual maintenance plans, shutdown schedules, and resource requirements. - Monitor execution of planned maintenance activities and ensure timely completion. - Coordinate with various departments to optimize plant availability and performance. - Track maintenance costs and identify opportunities for budget optimization. Safety & Compliance - Ensure compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and company policies. - Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. - Promote a strong safety culture within the department. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare MIS reports, maintenance dashboards, and performance reviews. - Maintain maintenance records, technical reports, and equipment history data. - Present performance analysis and improvement recommendations to management. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering. - 8-12 years of relevant experience in power plant maintenance, reliability, technical services, or operational excellence. - Experience in thermal power plant operations and maintenance activities. - Strong knowledge of maintenance planning systems, reliability engineering, and RCA methodologies. - Exposure to SAP PM and maintenance management systems. - Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
