Role We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to join our team. This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Director, Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange department. The Sr. Manager will oversee Identity and Access control infrastructure while leading a dynamic team advancing Zero Trust technology and flagship cloud security products. In this role, you will manage end-to-end development and quality, collaborating globally with architects, product managers, developers, and engineers to ensure successful production delivery. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in software development, enterprise services, networking, and security across large organizations or startups • Experience building control plane systems on globally distributed databases and skilled in authentication and authorization mechanisms like SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and SCIM • Skilled in integrating software systems using distributed message queues like RabbitMQ/Kafka and distributed caches like Redis/Memcached • Proficient in distributed systems, data replication protocols like Paxos variants, and enterprise databases like DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Google Spanner What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • Experience leveraging AI/ML models to automate identity threat detection, optimize access management policies, or enhance cloud security operations • Skilled in using Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications and managing microservices architecture #LI-Hybrid #LI-GL2 At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that
