# **Senior Manager - Technology** Date: Aug 17, 2026 Location: Mumbai, IN Requisition ID: 23083 Description: **POSITION INFORMATION** **Position Title: Tech** **Lead Mobile (React Native)** **Experience: 7+ years** **Location:Bangalore/Remote** ## **POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Position Summary***:* The role will own the mobile application technology roadmap, architecture governance, vendor collaboration, platform stability, release management and long-term maintainability of the organization's mobile applications. The individual will also play a key role in mentoring engineers, improving team capability and driving succession planning. This role requires strong expertise in React Native-based mobile platform development with working knowledge of native iOS and Android ecosystems, a solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns with leadership & collaboration skills to mentor & guide team of developers. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technology, thrives in collaborative environments and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications at-scale with good communication & collaboration skills. # **Responsibilities***:* - End-to-end ownership of mobile release management, App Store/Play Store publishing, compliance, monitoring, crash analytics and production support. - Own technical governance of vendor-delivered code, ensuring architecture compliance, documentation completeness, code quality and effective knowledge transfer. - Collaborate with backend teams and leverage APIs, databases and integration patterns to deliver robust mobile solutions. - Good understanding and experience with governance & information security best practices for mobile applications. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, stakeholders & SMEs to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications. - Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions. Drive capability development and succession planning for critical application components. - Drive agile delivery through effective planning, release management, documentation, risk mitigation and stakeholder collaboration. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex mobile performance, compatibility, and production issues across devices and OS versions. - Stay current with mobile platform updates (iOS/Android releases) and proactively identify upgrade and optimization opportunities. **PEOPLE MANAGEMENT** - (Provide approx numbers of direct/indirect reports and indicate exempt/nonexempt employees; the level/degree of supervision provided) **Does this position have direct report responsibility?** **þ** **Yes** **No** **If Yes, Number of Exempt and Non-Exempt level employees \\_\\_\\_\\_\\_ Exempt \\_\\_\\_\\_\\_Non-Exempt** **Please describe in some detail the level of supervision provided:** Responsible for technical leadership of mobile engineering team including mentoring, capability building, succession planning, performance coaching and engineering best practices **REQUIRED SKILLS** **Must Have** - Minimum 6+ years hands-on (recent) experience on **React Native** with delivery of enterprise-scale mobile applications. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS & TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). - Mobile application architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Modular Architecture) - State management libraries (Redux, Zustand/Recoil, Context API) - Mobile Security (Secure storage, Authentication mechanisms, OAuth/OIDC, Mobile security best practices, Data protection standards) - Mobile CI/CD pipelines / Fastlane / GH Actions or ADO pipelines. - Strong hands-on experience across the full mobile application lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, deployment, performance optimization and production support - Experience managing App Store and Play Store releases, certifications and compliance requirements. - API integration, offline storage, caching and synchronization strategies - Mobile application performance optimization and observability - Strong understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, authentication frameworks and backend integration patterns. - Exposure to Open-Source platforms & solutions. - Hands-on experience using collaboration tools like GitHub & ADO for project and repository management. - Design & Coding best practices and tools (Sonar/GHAS etc.) - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Build redundancy across critical application modules to reduce key-person dependency **Good to Have-** - Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: - - Backend Platforms (Python / Node.js) - Frontend Technologies – React.js (Angular exposure is an added advantage) - RDMS (Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres) - Document based databases like Mongo - ORMs like Hibernate, Prisma, TypeORM etc. - Hands-on experience with Native Android or iOS application design & development. - Notification Technologies – Firebase, Azure Notification Hub or AWS SNS/Amplify - Hands-on experience with DevOps/SecOps, Cloud (Azure/AWS), SaaS/PaaS, AIOps - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders. - Experience integrating AI-powered capabilities, copilots or LLM-based services into mobile applications. - Experience owning or contributing to business-critical production mobile applications with large-scale enterprise usage. **POSITION SPECIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s or master’s degree in field of computer science/engineering & information technology.
