**About Position:** We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with experience in building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using .NET MAUI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile application architecture, modern .NET technologies, cloud-integrated solutions, and secure mobile development practices. This role involves close collaboration with product owners, client stakeholders, backend teams, and QA teams to deliver scalable, high-performance mobile applications. - **Role: Senior Mobile Developer** - **Location: Pune** - **Experience: 5 to 8 Years** - **Job Type: Full Time Employment** **What You'll Do:** - Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI for iOS and Android platforms. - Build scalable and reusable UI components using XAML, MVVM, and clean architecture principles. - Integrate mobile applications with ASP.NET Core APIs and backend services. - Implement offline capabilities using SQLite, local storage, caching, and background synchronization. - Optimize application performance, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability. - Implement secure mobile development practices including OAuth2, SSO, secure storage, and authentication mechanisms. - Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the application lifecycle. - Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, deployment, and release management. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term solutions. - Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices. - Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical recommendations. - Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. **Expertise You'll Bring:** - 5-8 years of software development experience with strong exposure to mobile application development. - Hands-on expertise in .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms with migration experience to MAUI. - Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance tuning. - Deep understanding of XAML, responsive UI design, custom controls, and platform-specific customizations. - Strong knowledge of MVVM, dependency injection, SOLID principles, and layered architecture. - Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs, JSON services, and handling network resiliency. - Expertise in mobile data storage technologies including SQLite, secure storage, Keychain, and Android Keystore. - Experience with Git-based version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. - Knowledge of mobile application deployment processes for iOS and Android platforms. - Experience with ASP.NET Core backend development. - Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights. - Experience implementing Push Notifications (APNS, FCM), deep linking, and mobile analytics. - Exposure to mobile automation testing tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Appium, and MAUI.UITest. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices. - Experience working in Agile delivery environments and distributed teams. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalisation for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
