**Role & responsibilities** Role & Responsibilities - Design, implement, and deploy Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions for enterprise customers. - Execute end-to-end migration of legacy WAN infrastructure to Cisco SD-WAN with minimal business impact. - Configure and manage SD-WAN controllers (vManage, vSmart, vBond) and WAN Edge (cEdge/vEdge) devices. - Perform routing and switching configuration using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, HSRP, and VRRP. - Develop and implement routing policies, QoS, Application Aware Routing (AAR), VPNs, and security policies. - Prepare High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Method of Procedure (MOP), migration plans, and test plans. - Conduct deployment validation, testing, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support. - Perform software upgrades, hardware refresh, and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) activities. - Collaborate with customers, TAC teams, project managers, and cross-functional teams throughout implementation. **Preferred candidate profile** - 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking with strong expertise in Cisco technologies. - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) implementation and deployment. - Strong experience in SD-WAN migration projects from legacy WAN/MPLS to Cisco SD-WAN. - Excellent knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLAN, STP, HSRP, and VRRP. - Experience configuring SD-WAN controllers (vManage, vSmart, vBond) and WAN Edge devices. - Good understanding of LAN/WAN, Wireless Networking, Network Security, VPNs, ACLs, QoS, and IPsec. - Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, MOPs, implementation plans, and customer documentation. - Hands-on experience with deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and production cutovers. - Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred. - Strong communication, customer-facing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in enterprise network transformation, implementation, and migration projects is highly preferred.
