Senior Officer Warehouse

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - **Receipt & Storage**: Manage inbound tyre receipt, storage, and dispatch as per SOPs. - **Inventory Control**: Ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation, accurate ERP/SAP records, daily cycle counts, and monthly stock verification. - **Dispatch Coordination**: Coordinate with production, planning, transport, and sales teams for timely dispatches. - **Material Handling**: Monitor loading/unloading activities to prevent damage and ensure barcode/RFID traceability. - **Safety & 5S**: Ensure 100% compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards. - **Team Supervision**: Supervise warehouse staff and contract labour for efficient operations. - **Discrepancy Management**: Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions. - **KPI Monitoring**: Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, OTIF, dispatch turnaround, productivity, and damage rate. - **Continuous Improvement**: Drive cost-saving initiatives, Kaizen, and process improvements. **Preferred candidate profile** Tyre or Automobile Industry **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and dispatch. - Proficiency in SAP/ERP, MS Excel, and barcode/RFID systems. - Understanding of FIFO, cycle counting, and stock control. - Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of 5S, Lean, and safety practices.
