If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place. **About You And The Role** As a **Senior Payroll Representative** based in **Navi Mumbai,** you act as the first point of contact for payroll inquiries through phone, chat, or e-Request across various disciplines. You are empowered to support and perform transactional activities that enable HR business processes and deliver a best-in-class employee experience. You may also serve as a resource for less experienced team members. In this role, you develop full proficiency in a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and hands-on experience. You apply your knowledge of technical processes and procedures to complete a variety of work assignments. You understand how multiple teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives, and you are able to explain complex technical information to members of your team as well as other teams. You are responsible for providing solutions to operational and analytical problems using established procedures and practices. You serve as an informal resource on analytical methods, scientific approaches, and operational processes for less experienced colleagues. Your performance impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of both your work and your team's work. While you receive guidance on new and complex assignments, you are expected to work independently and apply sound judgment in your day-to-day responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Acts as primary point-of-contact for payroll inquiries (via phone, chat, and e-Request), identifying and delivering solutions to employees and People Leaders - Delegates and escalates queries as appropriate, but remains responsible through completion - Tracks progress, and provides continuous feedback to requestors on status of their queries - Engage in improving Knowledge Base and Case Management content for payroll, based on experience - Supports oversight of service operations by responding to service demands as they arise (e.g., volume of calls, staff absence, chat and e-Request queries, etc.) - Engages in and drives overall continuous improvement processes (e.g., to reduce inquiry volume) - Enables a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional service delivery and subject matter consultation for Time and Absence **Qualifications** - Any Graduate with relevant HR and Finance background - A minimum of 4 years of experience in EMEAI Payroll activities - Experience with Microsoft Suite - Excellent verbal and written communication **Your Skills** - Payroll Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge - Understanding country-specific payroll laws, taxes, social security requirements, and statutory reporting obligations. - Knowing when to escalate compliance risks and ensuring payroll processes meet local legal requirements. - Stakeholder Management & Communication - Building effective relationships with HR, Finance, vendors, and employees across different countries and time zones. - Communicating payroll impacts, deadlines, issues, and resolutions clearly and professionally. - Data Accuracy & Analytical Thinking - Reviewing payroll data for errors, identifying trends, reconciling variances, and performing root-cause analysis. - Using payroll systems, reports, and Excel to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. **Additional Notes** - No relocation is supported for this role - Incumbent should be flexible to work in shifts **Benefits – What Dow Offers You** We invest in you.
