Senior Power Bi Developer

Job description

Role & responsibilities • 6+ years of professional Business Intelligence experience, including 4+ years hands-on with Microsoft Power BI. • Advanced DAX and Power Query (M) skills, including complex measures, calculation groups, and query optimisation. • Strong dimensional / star-schema data modelling expertise. • Proficient SQL for querying, shaping, and validating data from relational sources. • Hands-on experience with the Power BI Service: workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataset refresh, and row-level security (RLS). • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics). • Working knowledge of the medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold) and building BI solutions on a layered lakehouse platform. • Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and set BI standards across a team. • Strong written and spoken English; comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across time zones. • Microsoft PL-300 certification preferred; Microsoft Fabric and Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203) a plus.
