Role: Senior Manager (Procurement) Location: Chennai (Sholinganallur) Shift: 5:00 PM onwards Grade: C2 Industry: Mining Business About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Procurement Delivery to lead procurement operations and drive delivery excellence for a global mining client. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in procurement operations, stakeholder management, team leadership, process transformation, and end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) delivery. Key Responsibilities Procurement Delivery & Operations • Lead end-to-end procurement operations and ensure achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs, quality, compliance, and productivity targets. • Manage large-scale procurement programs and drive operational excellence across the engagement. • Ensure efficient execution of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement governance activities. Source-to-Pay (S2P) Expertise • Demonstrate strong hands-on experience across the entire S2P lifecycle, including: • Requisition Management • RFx Management • Strategic Sourcing • Supplier Onboarding • Purchase Order Management • Contract Management • Invoice Processing • Supplier Performance Management • Drive process standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Client & Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary escalation point for client stakeholders. • Lead governance reviews, operational reviews, QBRs, and performance discussions. • Build strong relationships with client leadership and support business growth initiatives. Team Leadership • Lead and mentor a procurement operations team. • Preference for candidates currently managing a team size of approximately 40 FTEs or more . • Drive employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and capability development. Transformation & Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities for procurement transformation, automation, process optimization, and cost savings. • Drive strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency and value realization. • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and best practices. Desired Candidate Profile Experience • 10+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Procurement Outsourcing. • Strong experience managing delivery for large global clients. • Proven expertise in Delivery Management and Procurement Operations. • Experience supporting complex procurement environments with strong governance and stakeholder management.
