Statiq was named as one of the top 3 most promising start-ups by NASSCOM in the year 2020, it was the same year we got selected for Y Combinator, a Silicon Valley based accelerator program. **About the Role:** As a **Sr. Executive – Procurement** , you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for contract manufacturing partners and strategic suppliers. You will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, procurement planning, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for EV charger manufacturing. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Logistics, you will help build a resilient supplier ecosystem while driving operational efficiency, quality, and cost competitiveness. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Manage end-to-end procurement activities for contract manufacturing partners and raw material suppliers for AC/DC EV charger products. - Handle sourcing for contract manufacturers such as VVDN, Sahasra Electronics, Dixon Technologies, and other strategic suppliers. - Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs/RFIs while conducting comprehensive vendor assessments based on cost, quality, manufacturing capability, technical expertise, financial stability, delivery performance, and EV industry experience. - Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, lead times, and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) to achieve optimal procurement outcomes. - Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, value engineering, and alternate sourcing opportunities. - Monitor supplier performance by tracking quality metrics, defect rates, warranty claims, and field failures, while coordinating corrective and preventive actions with suppliers. - Create, review, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), vendor master records, procurement documentation, and pricing history while ensuring compliance with internal approval workflows. - Track procurement schedules and order status, proactively resolving delivery delays and coordinating with logistics teams for inbound material planning. - Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor scorecards, sourcing dashboards, cost trend analysis, and performance reports for leadership review. - Coordinate with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies, GRN mismatches, supplier reconciliations, and payment-related issues. - Ensure procurement contracts, NDAs, quality agreements, and supplier documentation remain complete, compliant, and audit-ready. - Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and smooth production execution - **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline. - MBA/Post Graduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage. - 3–6 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management. - Prior experience in Electronics Manufacturing, EMS, EV, Automotive, Electrical, or Industrial Manufacturing is highly preferred. - Experience working with Contract Manufacturing (CM/EMS) partners and component suppliers will be an advantage. - Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. - Hands-on experience in RFQ management, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations. - Knowledge of electronics components, manufacturing procurement, BOMs, and supply chain planning is preferred. - Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, etc.) and advanced Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?** - Generous Leave Policy: Benefit from a comprehensive leave policy for work-life balance. - Excellent Office Facilities: Work in a modern and well-equipped office space. - Learning and Development Opportunities: Access ongoing professional growth programs. - Quarterly Team Outings: Engage in team-building activities and outings. - Dynamic and Supportive Team: Collaborate with talented and supportive colleagues.
