Senior Product Manager 1

Job description

redBus is looking for a Product Manager to drive the product charter for supply side of redBus marketplace. This is a key role at redBus to build high quality products for our Bus Operator partners. Responsibilities • Own multiple key products such as seller platform for Bus Operators (redPro), fleet programs (Primo), dynamic discounting products etc. • Drive roadmaps, ensuring execution and time-to-market are optimized while balancing user needs and business priorities • Build a world class product suite for our bus operator partners, keeping in mind the needs of the bus marketplace at redBus. • Work very closely with engineering, design, data science, user research and business development teams to drive both 0-1 and 1-100 bets. • Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. • Deep thinking on long term business needs and user focus while creating product roadmaps, and ability to glean customer insights and feedback from multiple channels including through structured customer research Educational Qualification: B. Tech + MBA (preferable) Years of Experience (Minimum & Maximum) 4-6 years of hands-on product management Experience (B2B Preferable) What is the nature and scope of responsibilities the candidate should have handled? • Ability to analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for product enhancements • Proven track record of implementing successful product initiatives that have significantly contributed to revenue growth and customer satisfaction • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, forecast impacts, and make informed product decisions • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, business development and analysts • Experience in managing Product Lifecycle using agile methodologies (PRDs, BRDs, wireframing-UX, metric tracking) • Structured thinking, strong written and verbal skills to process and deliver high quality documents, to facilitate technical and non-technical interactions Generic Competency • Mandatory Skills – Ability to make sense of data, strong written and verbal communication skills • Good to have – Experience with seller platforms, travel industry
