**Role & responsibilities** **Job Title:** Senior Backend Developer (Python FastAPI) **Experience:** 8+ Years **Location:** Pan India **Employment Type:** Full-time **Key Responsibilities** - Work on **integration projects and enterprise workflow automation** - Design and develop **high-performance APIs using Python and FastAPI** - Build and manage **RESTful web services**, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols - Develop scalable backend systems using **microservices and cloud-native architecture** - Work with **message queues and streaming platforms** (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apache MQ, Temporal) - Develop and manage **webhooks and event-driven systems** - Manage **NoSQL databases (MongoDB Atlas)** for scalable data storage - Implement and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** - Configure and manage infrastructure using **Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux** - Work with **AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route53, Cognito)** - Ensure system reliability using **observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)** - Handle fi transfers using **SFTP/FTPS and AWS Transfer Family** - Work with **ODBC/JDBC connectors** for data integration - Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver **scalable and robust enterprise solutions** **Required Skills** - Strong expertise in **Python (core concepts, decorators)** - Hands-on experience with **FastAPI and API/service development** - Solid understanding of **REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and data formats (JSON/XML)** - Experience with **AWS cloud services** - Knowledge of **API gateways (Kong preferred)** - Strong understanding of **microservices architecture** - Experience with **message queues/streaming platforms** - Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools** - Basic understanding of **networking concepts** **Good to Have** - Experience with **Temporal, Svix (webhook platforms)** - Hands-on experience with **AWS Transfer Family** - Experience with **observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)**
