Your role is of key importance, as it lays down the foundation for the entire project. **Senior QA Automation Engineer – Selenium & Playwright** **Experience:** 6–10 Years **Location:** Pune / Chennai / Bangalore / Kochi / Kolkata **Employment Type:** Full Time **Role Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Senior QA Automation Engineer** with strong expertise in **Selenium and Playwright** to ensure quality, stability, and performance of enterprise‑scale web applications. The role requires designing robust automation frameworks, validating cloud‑based applications, and driving quality practices across Agile teams in an AWS environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain **automation test frameworks** using **Selenium and Playwright** - Create and execute **automated test scripts** for web applications and APIs - Integrate automated tests into **CI/CD pipelines** - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing - Validate applications deployed on **AWS Cloud** environments - Analyse test results, log defects, and work closely with developers for resolution - Ensure test coverage, reusability, and maintainability of test artefacts - Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions - Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct test automation code reviews **Mandatory Technical Skills** - **Selenium WebDriver** (Java / Python preferred) - **Playwright** (JavaScript / TypeScript preferred) - Strong knowledge of **automation frameworks** and design patterns - Web technologies: **HTML, CSS, JavaScript** - API testing using REST (Postman / RestAssured – preferred) - Test management and defect tracking tools - **Git** for version control **AWS & Cloud (Required Exposure)** - Testing applications hosted on **AWS Cloud** - Exposure to AWS services such as **EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch** - Understanding of cloud-based test environments and deployments - CI/CD exposure (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / AWS pipelines) **Good to Have** - BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow) - Performance or security testing exposure - Test automation for microservices and cloud‑native applications - Experience in **BFSI or large enterprise systems** **Soft Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills - Good communication and cross‑team collaboration - Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality - Experience working in **Agile / Scrum** teams **TCS Eligibility Criteria:** - \\*BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 6 years of relevant IT-experience post Qualification. - \\*Only Full-Time courses would be considered. - \\*Candidates who have attended TCS interview within 1 month need not apply. *Referrals are always welcome!!!*
