Job description

**About the Group:** The wireless infrastructure product group focuses on the development of integrated transceiver SoCs targeted for wireless base station markets covering 3G/4G/4.5G/AAS technologies. Products based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures are developed by this team. These products comprise high performance RF front-end (wide-band VGA, Synthesizers, mixers, PPA, etc.), analog base-band, high speed converters (DAC, pipelined/Sigma-Delta ADCs), high speed digital front-end, signal processing algorithms, embedded micro-controllers, high speed interfaces, etc. These integrated transceivers support very high bandwidths, requiring high speed GHz data-path processing, and are developed in advanced sub-micron technology nodes, like 28 nm. Power consumption is a critical care about and needs to be addressed through differentiated architectures and designs. We are looking for passionate, creative and self-driven engineers who would challenge traditional techniques and come up with innovative solutions to make a difference. **This team holds 250+ granted patents on these technologies.** - Work with Systems Engineering Team to define and architect new products. - Design, supervision of layout, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits - Interacting with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production. - Work closely with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product. - Interacting with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the market place **What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)** - Experienced with IC design and full development cycle from definition through release to production. - Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders. - Knowledge of analog circuit design techniques, including but not limited to operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, data converters, oscillators, and switched-capacitor circuits is necessary - Knowledge of digital circuit design techniques, including but not limited to counters, timers, state-machines and combinational logic is also required - Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals. - Team and People Skills: The candidate should have good people skills to work closely with the layout, test and design team **Preferred Skills/ Experience** 4-10 years of experience in analog development including designs of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Oscillators, DC-DC converters, LDOs, Bandgaps, Op-Amps, Comparators. Experience with Cadence design tools for analog/mixed-signal IC design
