**Job Description: Senior SDET** - 8-10 years of experience in test automation for enterprise applications. - Strong hands-on experience in**Playwright with Java**. - Must have experience automating**UI, API, integration, and end-to-end business workflows**. - Hands-on experience with**Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, and Jenkins**. - Strong understanding of the complete**SDLC process**, including planning, development, testing, deployment, release, and monitoring. - Experience working on products involving**configuration management, release orchestration, CI/CD, Dev SecOps, third-party integrations, and distributed development workflows**. - Ability to understand complex product flows across multiple modules and translate them into scalable automation scenarios. - Strong experience in automation framework design, test data handling, debugging, reporting, and failure analysis. - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Good to have experience in**data pipeline automation**. **Product Context** - The engineer will automate a platform that supports the complete**software development life cycle**for product development and release. - The product supports distributed development across multiple modules, including: - **Core Setup and Configuration**: User onboarding, SSO, role-based access, policy templates, technology stack configuration, credential management, and third-party connectivity. - **Product Release Orchestration**: Portfolio, product, feature, epic, and story management with Jira integration, release planning, dependency handling, and deployment orchestration. - **Data Pipeline Studio**: Pipeline creation, technology stack selection, code commits, dependency management, pipeline execution, and data flow validation. - **Dev SecOps**: CI/CD execution, quality gates, security checks, deployment readiness, and release governance. - The engineer should be able to understand how SDLC stages connect across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, release, and monitoring. - The role requires automation of real end-to-end product journeys, including product setup, Jira integration, feature planning, code and pipeline workflows, security validation, deployment, and release orchestration. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using**Playwright and Java**. - Automate UI and API test scenarios across**Core, Product Release Orchestration, Data Pipeline Studio, and Dev SecOps**modules. - Build end-to-end automation workflows that represent real SDLC journeys from product setup to release. - Automate scenarios involving portfolio creation, product configuration, feature planning, Jira sync, technology stack selection, dependency validation, pipeline execution, deployment, and release readiness. - Validate integrations with third-party tools such as**Jira, Git repositories, CI/CD tools, security scanners, deployment platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes**. - Configure and maintain**Jenkins**jobs for automation execution, reporting, and scheduled runs. - Perform API automation and validation using**Rest Assured**. - Execute framework-based test suites using**TestNG**. - Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and improve test reliability and stability. - Maintain reusable automation components, test data utilities, reports, and integration hooks. - Collaborate with product, development, QA, DevOps, and release teams to identify automation coverage across the SDLC. - Support automation for release orchestration, Dev SecOps gates, and data pipeline workflow
