Partner with the best The Senior Security Advisor – Security Technology & Programs serves as a subject matter expert responsible for translating enterprise security policies, standards, and risk management objectives into practical security solutions across a global portfolio of sites and projects. This role partners with business leaders, facility teams, engineering organizations, and external vendors to assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, design security technology solutions, and oversee the successful delivery of physical security projects. The position combines security consulting, technology design, program management, and strategic planning to support the organization's people, assets, operations, and information. The role also supports security modernization initiatives, including artificial intelligence (AI) applications, security technology innovation, and long-term strategic roadmap development. As a Senior Security Advisor, Security Technology & Programs, you will be responsible for: • Security Risk Consulting: Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for global facilities and operations; advise business leaders on identified security risks and mitigation strategies; communicate risk impacts, residual risk, and risk acceptance considerations in business terms; support security governance programs through consistent application of corporate security policies and standards. • Security Technology Design & Engineering: Develop physical security system concepts and designs including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, command center technologies, and emerging security technologies; apply enterprise security standards globally; create conceptual designs, scopes of work, technical specifications, and implementation recommendations; maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies. • Program & Project Management: Manage a global portfolio of physical security projects from concept through implementation; coordinate activities with facilities, engineering, IT, legal, procurement, operations, and business leadership; develop budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications; track project performance, risks, milestones, and deliverables; support capital planning and long-range security investment strategies. • Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with site leadership and business stakeholders; present security recommendations and project proposals; support funding requests through business case development and communication of risk reduction benefits; serve as a trusted advisor on security-related matters. • Security Technology Strategy & Innovation: Support development and execution of Enterprise Security technology strategy; evaluate emerging technologies including AI-enabled monitoring and analytics solutions; participate in pilots and assessments; contribute to the Enterprise Security AI Roadmap and other strategic initiatives. • Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate activities with integrators, consultants, technology providers, and contractors; review proposals, technical submissions, and design packages; assist with vendor selection and performance management; support commissioning, testing, and acceptance activities. • Technical Support & Problem Resolution: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, and related technologies; work with site personnel, vendors, integrators, and IT teams to identify and resolve system issues; analyze system performance, diagnose root causes, and recommend corrective actions; support system upgrades, configuration changes, testing, commissioning, and issue resolution; serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues requiring specialized expertise. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: • Have Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. • Have Minimum 12+ years of experience in physical security, security technology, risk management, or related fields. • Have Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise security systems. • Have Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a global environment. • Have a Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Have ability to communicate technical concepts and security risks to non-technical audiences. • Have Lenel certifications or equivalent access control certifications.
