**What you will do :** **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for desktop and mobile client applications. (Windows, Linux, Android, IOS, macOS, ChromeOS) - Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. - Analyze automation failures and improve reliability/stability of automation suites. - Work closely with development teams to improve application testability and automation support. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and test strategy planning. - Debug complex issues involving networking, tunnels, OS integrations, client server communication etc. - Build utilities for log analysis, diagnostics, and environment validation. - Support execution across cloud device farms and internal automation labs. **What you will bring** : **Education and Experience Required:** - Minimum education at BE or Master level in Computer Science or related fields. - 2-15 years of relevant industry experience. **Knowledge and Skills:** - Experience in designing test and automation strategy for client applications. - Strong programming experience in Python. - Good understanding of object-oriented programming and automation framework design. - Experience developing scalable automation frameworks from scratch. - Strong experience with UI automation frameworks such as: - Playwright - Appium - Selenium/WebDriver - Experience automating Electron desktop applications or desktop clients. - Experience with mobile automation for Android and/or iOS platforms. - Strong understanding of locator strategies, synchronization, retries, and automation reliability techniques. - Good understanding of processes/services, file systems, logs, networking commands, Os level debugging. - Mandatory understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN concepts, posture enforcement. - Experience with Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, docker, Automation reporting tools, Source control systems such as Git. - Strong debugging and analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot automation failures, client and server side issues, OS environmental issues, network issues etc. - Powershell/Shell/Bash scripting. - Experience with packet capture tools such as Wireshark. **Nice to Have** - Experience of using AI tools in SDLC (GitHub copilot etc.) - Experience in networking domain including working with VPNs, ZTNA, encryption, secure tunnels and similar technologies. **Additional Skills:** Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Release Management, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)
