University Living is recognized by Startup India and several leading publications for its rapid growth, industry impact, and robust ecosystem of value-added services and a SaaS-based Property Management System for accommodation partners. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer – AI & ML role based in Noida. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI and machine learning solutions that power University Living’s recommendation engines, search, and personalization features. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to translate business problems into technical solutions, build robust back-end services and APIs, and integrate ML models into production systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, optimizing performance, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role also requires staying current with advances in AI/ML, evaluating new tools and frameworks, and contributing to architectural decisions that support the platform’s growth. **Qualifications** - Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, systems design, and software engineering principles. - Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go) and familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks. - Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and integrating ML models into production systems. - Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns, applied to large-scale, maintainable codebases. - Practical experience with machine learning workflows (data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment) and working with large datasets. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional
