**Senior C++ Backend Engineer Manufacturing Systems (MES)** **Location:** Chennai (Tidel Park) **Experience:** 5-10 Years **Job Description:** We are looking for a **Senior C++ Backend Engineer** with strong expertise in **Modern C++**, **Oracle/SQL databases**, and **Linux environments** to develop and maintain backend components of large-scale Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop backend applications using C++ (C++11/14/17). - Build business logic modules supporting manufacturing workflows. - Develop database-driven applications using Oracle/RDBMS. - Optimize SQL queries and ensure high-performance data access. - Handle transaction processing, concurrency, and data consistency. - Develop XML-based integrations and messaging interfaces. - Troubleshoot performance issues, memory leaks, and production defects. - Support cross-platform environments (Linux & Windows). **Required Skills:** - Strong hands-on experience in **C++ (C++11/14/17)**. - Good knowledge of **STL, OOP, Design Patterns, Templates, and Memory Management**. - Experience with **Oracle, SQL, RDBMS, Query Optimization**. - Strong understanding of **Multithreading, Concurrency, ACID Transactions**. - Experience in **Linux and Windows** environments. - Hands-on experience with **XML, System Integration, and Debugging Tools**. - Exposure to **Visual Studio, Makefiles, Git**. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with **MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)**. - Knowledge of **Lot Tracking, Lot Routing, WIP, Production Routing**. - Semiconductor, Electronics, or Industrial Manufacturing domain experience. - Exposure to **JMS, TIBCO, Enterprise Messaging Systems**. **Candidate Profile:** - 5-10 years of C++ backend development experience. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Experience building enterprise-grade applications. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
