**Role & responsibilities** **Senior Software Engineer (47 Years Experience)** **Location: Hyderabad** **Experience: 4–7 Years** **Role Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated **Senior Software Engineer** with strong expertise in **SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)**, along with solid knowledge of the **US Healthcare domain**. The ideal candidate should also have effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interact with clients when required. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and optimize complex **SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions**. - Build and maintain scalable **ETL pipelines** on **cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)**. - Develop and maintain **Power BI dashboards and reports** for data-driven decision-making. - Work with **cloud-based data architectures**, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. - Analyze and work with **US healthcare datasets** (claims, providers, eligibility, etc.). - Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance standards. - Participate in **client interactions**, including requirement gathering, discussions, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - **Experience:** 4–7 years in software engineering / data engineering roles. - **Strong SQL Expertise:** Advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling. - **ETL Experience:** Hands-on in developing ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue). - **Power BI (PBI):** Strong experience in dashboards, DAX, and data visualization. - **Cloud Platforms (MANDATORY):** Hands-on experience with **Azure or AWS**, including data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, Redshift, etc.). - **US Healthcare Domain Knowledge:** Familiarity with healthcare data models and workflows. - **Communication Skills:** Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients. - Strong understanding of **data warehousing concepts** and best practices. - Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments**. **Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills** - Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.) - Experience with **big data technologies** (Spark, Databricks, etc.) - Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for data processing - Exposure to data governance and security standards **Preferred candidate profile**
