SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Python

Job description

**Responsibilities**  - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python. - Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, and Step Functions, Bedrock etc. - Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. - Integrate applications with AI platforms and services such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Gemini. - Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Ensure application security, reliability, observability, and scalability in production environments. - Develop automated testing frameworks and participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment automation. - Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers. - Troubleshoot and resolve application, cloud infrastructure in a timely manner. - Monitor and improve application performance, cloud resource utilization.   **What You Will Need**  - Strong programming skills using Python. - 7+ years of software development experience using Python. - Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. - Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS/SNS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager. - Practical experience building AI-powered applications, products, or enterprise solutions. - Experience working with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development. - Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design principles. - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar technologies. - Good to have hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). - Good to have experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search solutions. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with observability and monitoring tools. - Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.   **Education and Experience**  - Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 7+ years of software development experience using Python. - 3+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS. Hands-on experience designing and delivering production-grade AI-enabled applications and products.
