We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Programming Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Senior Systems Programming Analyst - Terraform This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Terraform-based infrastructure automation capabilities that enable application and infrastructure teams to provision and manage cloud resources through standardized Infrastructure as Code workflows. The position focuses on building reusable Terraform frameworks, enabling self-service onboarding, improving CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployment, enforcing governance and access controls, and maintaining the reliability of enterprise infrastructure automation platforms. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules, templates, and scalable Infrastructure as Code design patterns that support enterprise infrastructure deployments. - Build and enhance Terraform platform capabilities that allow infrastructure teams and application teams to onboard projects, manage deployments, and operate cloud infrastructure through standardized automation workflows. - Support self-service onboarding by automating repository creation, environment provisioning, deployment configuration, and access setup for teams adopting Terraform. - Implement and support CI/CD workflows for infrastructure deployments using version control, pull request processes, automated validations, and controlled release practices. - Manage infrastructure changes through Git-based workflows including repository standards, approval models, branch strategies, and change controls. - Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and management in Google Cloud Platform, including networking, IAM roles, resource provisioning, and security policy alignment. - Develop and enforce governance controls within Terraform workflows, including access management, role-based permissions, policy enforcement, and security standards. - Design self-service infrastructure platform capabilities that balance team autonomy with enterprise governance and security requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve Terraform deployment failures including configuration issues, dependency conflicts, policy restrictions, and CI/CD pipeline errors. - Partner with application teams to support Terraform onboarding, resolve access or configuration issues, and promote adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices. - Provide operational support for Terraform provisioning workflows, onboarding automation, repository access, and CI/CD execution issues. - Participate in support availability for troubleshooting and resolving Terraform automation issues outside normal business hours when needed. - Create and maintain onboarding guides, platform documentation, standards, and operational procedures that help teams adopt and use Terraform successfully. Required Technical Skills - Expert-level experience with Terraform development, including reusable module creation, Infrastructure as Code frameworks, and scalable platform design patterns. - Strong experience building Terraform platform enablement capabilities that support standardized onboarding and infrastructure automation for multiple teams. - Hands-on experience managing Google Cloud Platform resources through Terraform, including networking, IAM, resource provisioning, and security policy integration. - Strong understanding of CI/CD practices for infrastructure deployments, including automated validation, controlled release processes, and deployment troubleshooting. - Experience with Git, pull request workflows, repository management, branching strategies, and approval-based infrastructure change controls. - Experience designing and automating infrastructure onboarding processes for repositories, environments, and deployment configurations. - Strong knowledge of Terraform access governance, including role-based access models, group management, and policy-driven controls. - Experience implementing infrastructure policy management, governance enforcement, permission control models, and security-aligned automation standards. - Ability to design self-service infrastructure platform capabilities that reduce dependency on centralized platform teams while maintaining governance. - Strong troubleshooting skills for Terraform deployments, pipeline failures, dependency issues, and configuration errors. - Ability to collaborate effectively with application teams and provide enablement support for Infrastructure as Code adoption. - Strong documentation and operational runbook development skills. Qualifications - 4+ years of relevant experience in Terraform development, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, systems programming, or related cloud infrastructure roles. - 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure management and infrastructure CI/CD workflows. - Experience performing as a Senior Systems Programming Analyst or in a comparable technical engineering role. - Demonstrated ability to support enterprise-scale infrastructure automation platforms in a production environment. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to guide application teams and document repeatable onboarding practices. - Ability to support operational issues and provide availability outside normal business hours when required.
