**Description** – **Requirements** - Senior Technical Architect / Consultant – 5G RAN Performance & Troubleshooting (10–15 Years of Experience) Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced telecom professional with strong expertise in 5G RAN architecture, multi-vendor integration, customer troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The candidate should have worked across multiple OEM/NEP platforms and should possess deep experience in debugging complex network and protocol-level issues in commercial deployments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to various telecom codebases, customer deployments, and end-to-end performance analysis involving UE, gNB, and Core Network interactions. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Architecture - Lead complex troubleshooting activities for 4G/5G RAN customer issues across multiple deployments. - Provide architectural guidance for Baseband, RAN, and protocol stack-related problem resolution. - Participate in technical reviews, feature discussions, and performance optimization activities. - Collaborate with development, integration, system engineering, and customer support teams. Performance & System Analysis - Analyze and debug: - Throughput degradation - Scheduler performance issues - UL/DL BLER degradation - Latency issues - Mobility failures - Resource allocation inefficiencies - Intermittent field issues - Deep understanding of MAC scheduler behavior, radio resource management, HARQ, QoS handling, and traffic optimization. - Strong expertise in identifying bottlenecks across PHY/MAC/RLC/PDCP/RRC layers. Multi-Vendor & Customer Exposure - Experience working with multiple OEMs/NEPs and telecom operators. - Ability to understand and debug different telecom codebases and architecture implementations. - Hands-on exposure to interoperability issues between UE, RAN, and Core vendors. - Experience supporting customer escalations and field deployments globally. Protocol & Log Analysis - Expert-level understanding of: - LTE/5G NR signaling - RRC procedures - Scheduler behavior - Control plane and user plane flows - Perform deep protocol analysis using tools like: Wireshark, QCAT/QXDM, TEMS, Viavi - Internal log analysis frameworks - Ability to correlate logs across multiple network nodes and layers.
