This role offers the opportunity to drive technical strategy, mentor high-performing engineering teams, and deliver scalable maritime technology solutions with measurable business impact. **Your Role** As a Technical Lead, you will own the end-to-end technical delivery of fleet and vessel-level solutions, driving architecture, development, quality, and operational excellence. You will combine hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership across React, Python, AWS, Kafka, and Snowflake to build highly scalable and reliable digital platforms. In this role, you will: - Define and evolve platform architecture across frontend, backend, data pipelines, analytics, model hosting, and cloud infrastructure. - Lead the development of React-based applications, Python microservices, and cloud-native solutions deployed on AWS. - Design and implement robust telemetry ingestion, transformation, and storage frameworks ensuring data quality, lineage, and consistency. - Build and optimize Kafka-based streaming pipelines for near real-time alerts, event processing, and analytics workflows. - Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to productionize ML and physics-based models, including monitoring, versioning, and performance optimization. - Guide UI/UX implementation for dashboards, operational workflows, and data visualization solutions ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Design and optimize Snowflake data models, secure access strategies, analytics pipelines, and reporting solutions. - Establish observability, monitoring, alerting, security controls, secrets management, and role-based access mechanisms. - Drive engineering excellence through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, canary deployments, and production validation practices. - Mentor frontend, backend, and data engineering teams through technical guidance, code reviews, and design reviews. - Partner with Product, SMEs, QA, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Lead sprint planning, roadmap execution, release governance, and technical debt management while ensuring predictable delivery. **Your Profile** - 8+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years in a Technical Lead or equivalent leadership role. - Strong expertise in React, including component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and testing. - Proficiency in Python backend development using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. - Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch. - Practical experience with Kafka, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, and streaming architecture design. - Strong experience in Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouse technologies, including schema design and performance tuning. - Deep understanding of time-series data processing, telemetry systems, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data engineering. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and observability platforms. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. **Preferred Skills** - Experience in maritime, shipping, industrial IoT, offshore, or digital twin platforms. - Knowledge of time-series databases such as InfluxDB or TimescaleDB. - Experience with model-serving platforms including SageMaker, Triton, or similar technologies. - Familiarity with stream processing frameworks such as Kafka Streams or Apache Flink. - Understanding of vessel telemetry and maritime operational systems. - Experience with Snowflake capabilities such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Row Access Policies. - Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance practices for critical infrastructure environments. **What You'll Love About Working Here** - Opportunity to architect and deliver cutting-edge maritime technology platforms. - Exposure to modern cloud-native, streaming, analytics, and machine learning ecosystems. - Collaborative environment focused on innovation, ownership, and continuous learning. - Career growth opportunities through technical leadership, mentoring, and large-scale transformation programs. - Work alongside multidisciplinary teams building high-impact solutions for a global customer base. **About Us** We are building intelligent digital platforms that help organizations transform operations through real-time data, advanced analytics, and cloud-native technologies.
